Knicks' J.R. Smith In Twitter War With Pistons' Jennings
By Dan Jenkins
DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - Pistons guard Brandon Jennings looks to be involved in another feud. Jennings sent out a tweet on Wednesday, which has since been deleted, criticizing the situation involving New York Knicks' J.R. Smith's brother, Chris, after being given a spot on the Knicks' roster.

Chris Smith has been on the receiving end of some skepticism after making the Knicks' roster coming out of training camp, with some people saying the only reason he qualified is because of his brother's presence on the team. One unnamed league GM even said of Chris, "(he) may be the worst player in the history of the [NBA] summer league." The New York Post reported that Knicks coach Mike Woodson said "respect" for J.R. would weigh into whether to keep Chris Smith.
It did not take J.R. long to come to the defense of his brother, as he tweeted back:

J.R. followed that statement with another, more controversial tweet, which has also been deleted. It read,
"Might call some of my Number street homies an put #Detroit on smash for a min! #DeadSerious"
That seemed too harsh for Jennings, who backed off in a later tweet.

The feud will soon take to the court as the Knicks visit the Palace next Tuesday, Nov. 19, where all of the talking will cease to matter.
