Kid Rock Expected To Join Paul Ryan At Oakland University Rally
ROCHESTER (WWJ) - Republican Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan is expected to get some support from Kid Rock at a rally tonight at Oakland University.
The Detroit-based rocker supported the Wisconsin representative back at a GOP fund-raising event at the Oakland Hills Country Club in August. The singer is also pumping up fans for his new album, Rebel Soul, due out next month.
The scheduled appearance comes just a week after Kid Rock said he would probably vote for the Republican ticket, and suggests he's made up his mind.
Tickets to tonight's event at the O'rena are free. They are available online, and can also be picked up at Romney campaign offices in Royal Oak, Lake Orion, Bloomfield Hills and Utica. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the event starting at 7:30 p.m.
