Kevorkian Still Recovering In Hospital
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Dr. Jack Kevorkian should be released from the hospital within the next few days, according to his long time friend and health advocate. Mike Morganroth says he visited the 83-year-old Kevorkian on Monday.
"He's getting nutrition and food, because he was dehydrated, he had a problem with his nutrition. He had pneumonia, which seems to be pretty much under control ... he'll be getting out in the near future," says Morganroth.
"He'll be going to a rehab, in order to get his energy back, you know, PT (physical therapy) because he has been laying in bed so long," adds Morganroth.
Kevorkian was admitted to the hospital on May 17th.
Morganroth says Kevorkian will spend the holiday sitting up and watching Judge Judy.
