When Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2013, he was mainly selected because of his scoring ability and decent on-the-ball defense. Now, he's becoming known more for his transition defense.
The Pistons played the New York Knicks on Friday and KCP had a chance to showcase what is becoming his signature play -- the chase-down block.
Caldwell-Pope ran down former Michigan Wolverine Tim Hardaway Jr. -- who perhaps took too long getting the ball up -- and sent his shot back in dramatic fashion.
The Pistons just reacquired former champion Tayshaun Price, who had perhaps the best block in Pistons history, but it seems that KCP could pick up some pointers on how to perfect the play.
