KEM Will Play Hometown Christmas Show In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ/AP) - Detroit R&B vocalist KEM is bringing in some of his famous friends for a special hometown Christmas show next month.
The Grammy nominee's "What Christmas Means" holiday tour will stop at the Fox Theatre on Dec. 20.
The show will be narrated on stage by actor/comedian Anthony Anderson and feature performances by R&B legends Patti LaBelle and Ronald Isley.
Unlike a normal concert in which each artist has a set, KEM, LaBelle and Isley will come on and off the stage and all will perform with KEM's band. The artists will perform their hits and Christmas songs.
KEM, LaBelle and Isley also will collaborate for a show Dec. 14 at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
Tickets for the Detroit show are still available at www.ticketmaster.com.
