Kate Upton Responds To YouTube Prom Proposal
A Bel Air California teen has taken to the Internet to find a date -- and he has his sights set on Michigan-native supermodel Kate Upton.
Milken Community High School Senior Jake Davidson says doesn't have a girlfriend and he's hoping Upton is free on May 23 to join him at prom.
He asked her out in a two-minute YouTube video in which he's seen sitting by a pool, doing push-ups and shaving.
"You had me at 'hello.' You are the ying to my yang. I'm Jewish, five-nine on a really good day and I can't dance at all," says Davidson. "You're Christian, five-foot-ten, and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny."
Davidson goes on to say their common interests include fine dining, sports and Sports Illustrated.
In the shower, he asks, "Can I call you Katie?"
Upton responded to Davidson via Twitter. Then, on Wednesday, Davidson was being interviewed on the Today Show when Upton joined the conversation via telephone. She said she'll check her schedule and get back to him.
