Kate Upton Can't Wear Yankees Cap Because She Is 'Sleeping With The Enemy'

If there was ever any doubt that Kate Upton was dating Justin Verlander, that doubt is now out of the window.
Upton filled in for Kelly Ripa on the show "Kelly & Michael" Friday morning and she let the cat out of the bag. When Michael Strahan asked Upton if she had been doing anything while in New York, she mentioned she went to a Yankees game -- but couldn't root for the Yankees anymore.
Why? "I'm sleeping with the enemy," she said.
Strahan replies: "do tell." Her response was, "my boyfriend plays for the Tigers, I had to pick a side."
What, you ask? Is this official confirmation? It looks like it is, folks.
She goes on to say the Yankees told her she was not allowed to wear a Tigers hat or any gear. "It's like a bad breakup," she said.
During the chat, Upton never referred to Verlander by name but added her boyfriend's play was "amazing." She eventually gave permission for Strahan to say her boyfriend's name -- Justin Verlander.
She also talks about how everyone blames her for Verlander's struggles, but she bristled when Strahan compared fans' reaction to her to the way fans reacted to Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. "Hey!" she said.
An unusually open Upton event gave a glimpse into their personal life, saying, "He (Verlander) actually told me, he said, 'I like to be angry before I pitch," Upton said.
She added before he told her that, she always just tried to jostle him out of what seemed like bad pre-game moods by telling jokes before games. "And then he got mad at me and said 'Stop making me laugh," she said.
He adds that he jokes she wears a Yankees hat when she's mad at him and a Tigers hat when they're getting along. (Which makes us wonder -- What is he fighting with her about? Can't he see her?)
