Kalamazoo Credit Union Gets New Web Site
KALAMAZOO (WWJ) -- Kalamazoo-based Educational Community Credit Union has launched a new Web site designed by Cedar Falls, Iowa-based Banno LLC, a provider of Web and transaction marketing services for financial institutions.
ECCU launched its previous site more than a decade ago, and lacked the ability to leverage analytics or even add elements such as video and social media feeds.
The new site is designed to allow members to bank wherever and however they like, whether on desktop, smartphone or tablet, and to link more seamlessly with social media.
"Our new responsive design site and its associated capabilities have provided the evidence we suspected, that our members were hungry for mobile options," said ECCU research and development analyst Judi Burton. "As a result, ECCU is confident in our direction of making strategic plans to further substantiate our mobile presence."
ECCU said Banno delivered a website that highlights the credit union's brand equity and community involvement while also providing an effective platform for marketing products and services.
ECCU has had particular success with its Promotions page as well as seen growth in the use of informational pages – Contact Us, Locations and Search. This additional interaction can be attributed to the ease of use and immediacy of access to ECCU's website on mobile platforms.
