The father and son duo in baseball was always an aspect about the game I truly appreciated.
When Barry and Bobby Bonds were together in San Francisco, and of course, Ken Griffey Senior and Junior hit back-to-back home runs back in 1990.
In 2014 the Upton brothers, Justin and B.J. (now Melvin) teamed up on the Atlanta Braves.
During spring training this year, Justin Verlander and his brother Ben teamed up with the Tigers.
Ben, who currently is a minor league player with the Connecticut Tigers, was able to get an at-bat in front of his big brother Justin.
Justin was on hand to watch Ben's single Thursday against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Ben Verlander went 2-2 with a RBI against the Phillies. Justin pitched Thursday against the Phillies and threw 3 innings only giving up one hit.
