But he usually stays quiet about it, which is why it was a surprise Thursday afternoon when Verlander had a little bit of fun with a fan on Twitter.
It was a clever move for Mark Buescher to try to make a bet with Verlander about his first start of the season.
Verlander responded with something hilarious.
If this dude gets to go out with Verlander and Upton, I will be the first one to admit that I would be jealous.
