Justin Verlander And Kate Upton Buy A House In Beverly Hills [PHOTO]

When the Tigers ended the season, Justin Verlander was named by many sources as a player the Tigers could trade to help lower their payroll. One team that was named in a possible trade was the L.A. Dodgers.
If you would like to speculate and add a little fuel to the rumor, TMZ.com has just reported that Verlander and his fiancee Kate Upton just purchased a house in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Now, we've learned they pulled the trigger on a 5 bedroom, 6 bath East Coast country style home ... it's 5,000 square feet with an enormous pool and hot tub, koi ponds, park area to entertain guests ... and much, much more!
We're told the couple closed the deal on the private gated estate back in October. Judy Feder and Susan Smith of Hilton and Highland represented the seller.

Also as a quick reference it's a quick 20 mile drive to Dodger Stadium.
Maybe Verlander and Upton want to live the Hollywood lifestyle and live in Beverly Hills during the off season but doesn't it seem odd to spend $5.4 million on a home and not stay there for the majority of the time? I understand that he is a multi millionaire and Kate Upton is most likely a millionaire as well but after seeing this would it surprise you if Verlander were indeed traded?
