Judge Denies Bond In Murder, Burning
An 18-year-old Michigan man has been charged in the murder of a 19-year old girl. Jordan Gonzalez was arraigned Tuesday afternoon by 50th District Court Judge Michael Martinez.
Officials say Gonzalez shot Yeimi Moreno multiple times in the back of her head in Pontiac and drove her body to Detroit in a minivan. According to police, Gonzalez then set fire to the van with Moreno's body inside.
Gonzalez was injured by the flames.
He is being held without bond.
