Joseph Fauria Executes Another Touchdown Dance, Channels 'N Sync

Most importantly for the Detroit Lions, the team came away with a win in Washington for the first time since 1937. They had been 0-21 in that span, and now the streak is finally over.
Most entertainingly for Detroit Lions fans, undrafted rookie free agent tight end Joseph Fauria snagged another touchdown pass - and unleashed another touchdown dance.
People immediately identified Fauria's dance as one from the song "Bye Bye Bye" of popular-a-decade-ago boy band 'N Sync. The song was released in 2000, when the 23-year-old Fauria was 10 years old.
While Fauria might just have done the dance for the sake of dancing, he may also have been answering the challenge of Late Night host Jimmy Fallon. Fallon and former 'N Sync member Justin Timberlake did an end zone dancing skit, and Fallon said that the next NFL player to do an end zone dance from the video would win $10,000 for a charity of his choice.
Fauria had made headlines in week one for his touchdown and the accompanying celebration.
Head coach Jim Schwartz seemed less than enthralled by that first dance, so how he reacts to the second one - assuming anyone asks, given the possibility that Schwartz will tell Fauria to cut out the dancing if he has to keep answering questions about it - will be interesting.
