Jim Schwartz Talks About The Lions Selling Out
Even though the Lions are dealing with their fair share of injuries and have experienced limited success over the last decade, fans don't care. Lions single game tickets went on sale Wednesday morning and it took just 45 minutes to sell out the teams Monday night game against the Bears on October 10th. In addition to the Chicago game, the Thanksgiving Day game against the Packers is close to a sellout and Saturday's third preseason game against the Patriots has no tickets left as well. There were 400 to 500 fans lined up outside Ford Field overnight to be first in line to grab Lions tickets. Jim Schwartz was asked about the sellouts at practice and said "it's one thing to be excited about a team but it's another thing to put your money where your mouth is." Schwartz also made it clear that when his team is where it should be, sellouts won't be big news anymore, instead they will be the norm.
