The Lions share the NFL lead for most penalties. The question is whether they are being undisciplined, too aggressive or just plain dumb.
The answer might be a little bit of everything.
The Lions were penalized 10 times Sunday at Dallas -- the sixth time in seven games they've reached double-digit penalties. They have 98 for the season, tied with the Oakland Raiders.
Coach Jim Schwartz bridled Monday when a reporter asked him to explain the lack of discipline on some penalties.
"Pittsburgh had six personal fouls. Is that a lack of discipline or is that them playing hard?" Schwartz shot back.
