The term "Netflix and chill" has recently been a hot topic on social media sites. In a usual sense, people use to it to refer to an innocent night at home that turns, shall we say, romantic. "Want to go out?" "No, let's just 'Netflix and chill.'" You end up having to catch the end of the movie later.
Then there's this: Wednesday morning, Connor Murphy, who is a four-star defensive end recruit from Arizona, posted a photo on his Twitter account, tagging Harbaugh and himself with the caption, "It was a Netflix & Chill kind of night with @CoachJim4UM @umichfootball @espn #sleepover."
According to the LA Times:
Eight years ago, when Harbaugh was coach at Stanford, he recruited Connor's brother, Trent, to the Farm.
When Harbaugh made an in-home visit, Murphy's mother thought she was in labor with her daughter. Harbaugh was put on babysitter duty while Murphy's father rushed mom to the hospital.
It's almost as if these recruits are taking pride in Harbaugh spending the night. I might in the minority, but I don't care if Vince Lombardi walked into my house I don't think I would want to spend the night with the guy.
Jim Harbaugh is out on the recruiting trail and it's been nothing short of weird.
Last week it was reported that Harbaugh would be having a sleepover with a recruit.
Monday it was reported that Harbaugh was climbing trees in order to try to get a recruit to Michigan.
What happened to the day that Michigan got the top recruits based off their name or their "brand?" Seems like these are drastic measures being taken by coach Harbaugh.
What do you make of the Harbaugh's recent recruiting antics?
