Jeff Riger: Getting Fired Up For The Bucs
As the Lions get ready to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the excitement was already with the team on Wednesday afternoon. Both Jim Schwartz and Matt Stafford talked about the Bucs with anticipation but Ndamukong took it to the next level when asked about going against Tampa QB Josh Freeman.
"He's a good friend of mine and I know how he plays, so it's going to be a good challenge for us and I believe we are up for it. I always have joy in hitting him and hopefully will be able to get a couple sacks on him and rub it into his face a little more." How can you not love that? With three days left until the Lions kickoff with the Bucs in a game that can be heard right here on "The Ticket" starting at noon it might be hard to believe but it seems like the team is just as excited as their fans are.
