Jane Fonda Talks About Getting Older ... And Better
DETROIT (WWJ) - Jane Fonda came to metro Detroit -- to talk with women at a Dearborn Weight Watchers gathering about growing older.
WWJ Newsradio 950's Roberta Jasina was in the crowd and reports on the insights that actress and fitness guru Jane Fonda told the audience.
Fonda told the crowd that the older you are the better life can be.
Some of the ways to feel better are to exercise, to volunteer and to be true to yourself. She talked about the benefit of believing in a higher power.
Fonda spoke about her own celebrity, having breast cancer, her mother's suicide and learning to find happiness in her 60's.
Fonda says that life is a staircase to wholeness and well-being and after 60 years you learn when to let go.
