Jahvid Best Among Lions Who Miss Today's Practice
Running back Jahvid Best and middle linebacker DeAndre Levy did not take part in the open portion of Detroit Lions practice this morning, for the second straight day.
Best, who's dealing with turf toe on his right foot, watched practice in his jersey and sweatpants, standing next to fellow injured running back Aaron Brown. Incidentally, Best was named NFL rookie of the month today.
Levy said he hoped to practice today after missing Wednesday's workout with groin and ankle injuries. Landon Johnson will start in Levy's place if he can't play Sunday at the Green Bay Packers.
