Isuzu, Honda Recall SUVs Over Rust
Corrosion concerns have prompted a big SUV recall. The recall affects about 101,000 sport utility vehicles made by Isuzu, either under their own brand name, Rodeo, or built as Honda Passports.
The issue is excessive rust problems affecting the rear suspension in the 1998-2002 models.
The company says the vehicles have to have been purchased or currebtly registered in what the company is calling the 21 "Salt Belt" states, including Michigan.
The recall also covers Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri, as well as Washingon D.C.
