Insane Killer Released: Moves 2 Miles From Attack Site
DETROIT (WWJ) - A western Michigan man who fatally beat his female friend with a shovel has moved to a trailer two miles from where the attack occurred in 1997.
Martin Culver killed Marty Bulson after the mother of three stopped by his home to drop off flowers and a card for his birthday.
Authorities say when Bulson approached him in the yard, Culver thought she was the Antichrist.
The now-50-year-old Culver was found not guilty by reason of insanity.
He spent the next dozen years in mental hospitals before his release from Rose Hill Center in Holly.
