ImageSoft Offers Three New Tools For Courts, Law Enforcement
Courts and law enforcement are inherently paper-intensive institutions in which backlogs and exceedingly slow processes have become commonplace. But eliminating the paper can speed the process and eliminate wasted time and money.
To that end, ImageSoft Inc., a Southfield-based technology company, has introduced three new technology tools to help improve the efficiency of court processes and to aid law enforcement in expediting justice. TrueCertify, TrueFiling and iJustice eArraignment are the latest additions to the company's ImageSoft iJustice suite of technology solutions aimed at courts, law enforcement, and attorneys.
TrueCertify provides an alternative to raised seals for the delivery of paper or electronic copies of certified documents. It provides a much more robust mechanism for assuring document authenticity that is virtually impossible to circumvent or forge.
TrueFiling is a Web-based e-filing system for courts, law firms and individual (pro per) filers. It expedites justice by reducing paper handling and travel time and improves the court's internal processes through electronic workflow.
iJustice eArraignment allows for the entire arraignment proceeding, including the paperwork, to take place digitally with the judge or magistrate in a physically different location than the defendant. The system, which is often coupled with video arraignment, enables all arraignment documents to be completed and signed electronically so that remote arraignment can be handled entirely digitally.
"These tools will increasingly be utilized in courts nationwide to create automated, paper-on-demand work environments and to link the courts with key stakeholders, including the prosecutor's office, law enforcement, court clerk and the public," said Scott Bade, ImageSoft president. "The result is improved efficiencies in the courts and law enforcements agencies, reduced costs, increased public safety and enhanced citizen service."
