ImageSoft Completes Purchase of Office Space in Southfield
Southfield-based ImageSoft Inc. said Friday that it had completed the purchase of the ground floor of the former Wagon Building in Southfield. The company plans to relocate its 45-member corporate staff to the new space and expects to add an additional 30 new jobs over the next five years.
ImageSoft purchased the space, located at 25900 11 Mile Road near American Road, from Southfield Properties LLC. Brendan George, of CB Richard Ellis, brokered the transaction.
Under a condominium sale arrangement, ImageSoft owns and will occupy 15,000 square feet on the building's main level, nearly tripling the size of its current leased offices at 40 Oak Hollow in Southfield. Several smaller tenants, who occupy space on the new building's second floor, will remain. As part of the sale, ImageSoft also acquired naming rites to the building.
"This building represents a significant milestone for our company," said ImageSoft President Scott Bade. "It is a testament to our continued growth and to the stability of our company -- even in the face of current economic conditions -- that we are able to make such a substantial financial commitment. We're delighted, proud and eager to set up shop in our new facility, and look forward to providing our team with a state-of-the-art, vibrant new workspace."
After extensive remodeling of the building, ImageSoft plans to relocate to its new headquarters in spring 2011.
ImageSoft was founded in 1996, and in addition to its Southfield headquarters, operates offices in Raleigh, N.C., and Portland, Ore., serving customers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Its markets include government, the courts, healthcare, insurance companies, educational institutions, and manufacturers.
