Windsor Man Has Believable Freak Out In Staged Pokemon Go Prank

Update: after contacting the original poster of the video they admit the bit was staged, but it's still funny.

Never touch a man's radio or his Pokemon Go account.

Devon Pageau and Dylan Pageau of Windsor, Ontario are the sibling masterminds behind this dramatic video illustrating what would happen if you saw 60 hours of Pokemon dreams crushed right before your eyes.

"We were trying to portray how aggressive and frustrating the game can be," said Devon Pageau.

The guy having the freakout is Dylan Pageau and is one of the top-ranked local Pokemon players according to his sister.

A lifelong gamer, Dylan Pageau has a job as a CNC operator to pay the bills. His sister Devon owns a hair salon.

It's a believable scenario. They set up a new account to appear just like her brother's real account changing an l to a capital i so it was indistinguishable. He was at level 26, so you can imagine his panic when discovering his character was back at level 1.

After a few app resets and pacing around and mumbling he spiked his phone on the ground harder than Rob Gronkowski. You gotta love a good rage-quit. "I'm done. I'm done ..." SMASH. He drove off in a huff telling the ladies to walk home.

Dylan tells me that they do actually drive around playing the game like this. But safety is paramount. The passenger holds the phone and tries not to freak the driver out too much when they find a rare monster.

It was staged after all. That explains why the guy didn't swear. You can add acting to your list of skills guys. Well done. I was fooled.
