Two Fatal Motorcycle Crashes In SW Michigan
HAGAR TWP. (AP) - Authorities say an Illinois man died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle in southwestern Michigan.
The Berrien County Sheriff's Department said 54-year-old Angelo Egizio of Naperville was knocked from the motorcycle in the Tuesday crash in Hagar Township and pronounced dead at an area hospital.
The 71-year-old driver of the other vehicle wasn't injured. The Benton Harbor man told investigators he didn't see the motorcycle while making a turn.
The department says the crash is under investigation.
Separately, the Jackson County Sheriff's Department said a motorcyclist from Jackson died after going off a road at a curve on Tuesday in Summit Township. The department says 41-year-old Dannon Reynolds was pronounced dead at an area hospital. No other vehicles were involved.
