IDV Solutions Expands With Washington, D.C.-Area Office
LANSING (WWJ) -- IDV Solutions, a developer of data visualization software and physical security and risk visualization software, has opened an office in Reston, Va.
The suburban Washington, D.C. office is the third IDV Solutions location, after its Lansing headquarters and an Orlando, Fla. expansion that opened in August. The Reston office serves a growing IDV Solutions customer base in federal agencies, the military, and security integration VAR partners and consultants that support them.
The company's Visual Fusion and Visual Command Center software is currently deployed by government customers such the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corp., U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and others. Visual Fusion received SAFETY Act designation as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012.
"The Reston office is an ideal location to support sales, technical solutions consulting and development, and training for government accounts and our partners," said M.G. Karch, vice president for federal systems at IDV Solutions. "It also improves our ability to work on and serve customer projects in our nation's capital that require on-site development."
Karch and Kevin Steeprow, IDV director of technical solutions, will be based in the new office.
