Huntington Woods Native Starring In New Animated Comedy
DETROIT (WWJ) - A Michigan actress will be a part of an animated comedy series that will air on FX.
Huntington Woods native, Kristen Bell, is one of the voices cast for the animated comedy, Unsupervised, which is slated to premiere in January.
Bell who graduated from Shrine Catholic High School in Royal Oak, attended Tisch School of the Arts at New York University is now living in Los Angeles.
A vegetarian since age 11, Bell and her family fostered animals from the Michigan Humane Society when she was young.
Her mom, Lori, is a registered nurse, she tells WWJ that she is thrilled about the new venture for Kristen.
Kristen's dad, Tom Bell, is a television news director.
Kristen has been in many broadway plays, television series, and films. Kristen starred in the acclaimed T.V. series Veronica Mars from 2004-2007.
She will also be seen in the Showtime comedy House of Lies in January of 2012.
Word has it she's a big Red Wings fan as well.
