Hunting A Sexual Predator: Dearborn, 5 Other Communities Join Forces To Stop Terrifying Home Invasions, Assaults
DEARBORN (WWJ) - Six communities are joining forces to catch a dangerous sexual predator who has been terrorizing residents for several years.
The effort was launched by the Dearborn Police Department, which is currently investigating a number of home invasions that have taken place within its borders and in several surrounding communities.
In these incidents, police say the suspect enters a home with the intent of committing a sexual assault. The home invasions usually take place in the early morning hours and entry is gained through unlocked doors or windows on the ground floor.
According to police, the incidents are believed to be related and date back a number of years.
The suspect is described as an unknown race male, approximately 6' tall with a thin build.
Dearborn police are joining forces with surrounding law enforcement agencies in Allen Park, Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Redford and Garden City to identify and arrest the suspect.
