Scott Sieracki Joins IDV As Executive Vice President Global Sales: Lansing-based IDV Solutions announced today that security industry veteran Scott Sieracki has joined the company as executive vice president – global sales. Plante Moran Partners Appointed to Influential Posts: Plante Moran PLLC, one of the nation's largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, announces two Michigan-based partners have been appointed to prestigious board positions in the state. Donna Hanson, an assurance partner in the firm's Auburn Hills office, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and will serve through 2013. The MACPA has 18,000 members and is the leading statewide professional organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the value of the CPA profession in business, education, government and public accounting. The Board of Directors provides strategic leadership for the Association. Hanson succeeds Paul Bryant, CPA, also a Plante Moran partner, who served on the MACPA board for several years. Doug Wiescinski, a partner in the Southfield office, was appointed by Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder to the Michigan Municipal Services Authority (MSA). Also referred to as a "Virtual City," the MSA was created to encourage best practices, teamwork, and inter-local cooperation between municipalities and school districts, At Plante Moran, Wiescinski directs the firm's IT consulting practice. Created by inter-local agreement, the 12-member MSA Authority oversees the development of shared city services between Grand Rapids and Livonia. The agreement allows the communities to collaborate in the delivery of services such as IT, finance and accounting, payroll processing, and health care pooling.
