Ecology Coatings Board Appoints Two New Members. Elects Juliano Chairman: Warren-based Ecology Coatings Inc. (OTCQB: ECOC), a leader in the discovery and development of nanotechnology-enabled, ultraviolet-curable advanced coatings, announced that its board of directors elected Jim Juliano as its chairman. Juliano joined the Ecology Coatings Board last year. The company also announced the appointment of Nick DeMiro and John "Pete" Salpietra to its board.  DeMiro is the president of Mayco International LLC, a privately held global leader in automotive design, engineering, tooling and manufacturing of plastic systems and modules for the automotive industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and a master of science in systems management from the University of Southern California. DeMiro has eight years of active and reserve military service as an aviation officer in the U.S. Army. Salpietra is co-founder of Val-Tec Plastics, a manufacturer of plastic injection molds and, since 2005, is the majority owner and managing partner of Moose Ridge Golf Course in South Lyon. In 2005, Salpietra retired from C.H. Robinson Co. as its national vice president. He attended Youngstown State University and, in 2007, founded the Salpietra Family Charitable Foundation for funding endowed scholarships at Youngstown State University.
