GalaxE.Solutions Builds Upon IT Delivery Team in Detroit: The New Jersey-based custom software development IT firm GalaxE.Solutions, Inc. announced today two significant executive management moves that will serve to augment and expand worldwide IT delivery capabilities from GalaxE's downtown Detroit software development center at Campus Martius. Suresh Pande, Executive Vice-President of Delivery and Strategic Business Unit Leader, has been brought to Detroit from GalaxE's solutions center in Bangalore where he was responsible for inaugurating and building the company's India operations, over 3 locations and more than 1,000 IT professionals. Based in Detroit, operations, spanning the U.S., India, Hong Kong, China and the UK. He will focus on expanding GalaxE's operations at Campus Martius, including building local leadership teams and developing IT talent. Pande has served with GalaxE.Solutions for more than a decade. Justin Walker has been promoted to Vice President of Delivery for GalaxE's Detroit operations. In his new role, Walker, a metro Detroit native, will lead delivery execution of strategic engagements local to the Detroit market. He will focus on directing teams and building partnerships with customers to provide IT business solutions. Walker has been instrumental in the successful execution of major engagements for some of GalaxE's Fortune 50 clientele.
ProQuest Appoints Tony Rummans as Vice President Global Sales: ProQuest, the Ann Arbor-based database and information publisher, has appointed Tony Rummans as vice president of global sales. In this role, Rummans will be responsible for leading the global sales organization, helping to drive the strategic transformation of ProQuest's integrated go-to-market approach. In addition, Mr. Rummans will also serve on the sales, marketing and customer experience leadership team. Rummans has a rich background of international sales leadership with 30 years' experience in the information technology industry. His most recent role was senior vice president for Americas software and solutions sales at Kofax, a leading provider of smart process applications. Prior to Kofax, Rummans career was spent with IBM, leading sales teams worldwide from Latin America, southwest Europe and South Korea. His international assignments provided him the opportunity to live in both Madrid and Seoul. Rummans attended the MBA program at the University of Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Economics from Vanderbilt University. He also previously chaired the economic Task Force for the Brazil/USA Business Council as part of the Americas Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement International.
