Rave Computer Adds To Its Team: Sterling Heights-based Rave Computer announced Thursday that Julie Wood had joined the company to handle business development for military programs, specifically focused on modeling, simulation and visualization. Prior to joining Rave, Wood worked as a business manager for Primus Solutions Inc, formerly WTSI, helping to monitor contract requirements and synchronize operations between staff and government project leads. In addition to her duties at Rave, Wood also serves as the vice president of the Women in Defense Michigan Chapter and has served on its board of directors for five years in various capacities. Rave Computer is a technology consultant and computer manufacturer specializing in defense, homeland security and other industrial markets. Rave provides hardware that supports modeling, simulation and training platforms, along with command, control, communications and intelligence systems. Rave has been providing purpose-built computers for more than 23 years.
