Secure-24 Names Joe Szmadzinski as Chief Strategy Officer: The Southfield enterprise hosting and cloud computing services provider Secure-24 Inc. announced today that 20-year industry veteran Joe Szmadzinski has joined the company as Chief Strategy Officer. Szmadzinski will lead advancement of market and technology positioning, as well as development of key partner service alliances and new products. Previously, Szmadzinski was a Consulting Partner at KPMG and PwC, formerly Coopers and Lybrand. He has served as CEO, CIO and COO for numerous companies, including GMAC, Edcor Services, WorldCom (post-bankruptcy), Amerisure Insurance, Barr Pharmaceuticals, Continuum Health and Champion Industries, among other firms. In these roles, he led transformations that increased shareholder value and improved technology development. Szmadzinskialso directed the IT and Business Systems Transformation Practice for AlixPartners for more than nine years. Szmadzinski holds a bachelor's degree in information systems and physics from Grand Valley State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
