Basketball fans in the Motor City are desperate for Detroit Pistons franchise center Andre Drummond to improve his free throw shooting.
Some have called for the four-year big man out of Connecticut to shoot his free throws underhand, something coach Stan Van Gundy hasn't totally ruled out.
Houston Rockets second round draft pick Chinanu Onuaku may already be ahead of the curve when it comes to the underhand free throw. The 19-year-old out of Louisville showcased his shooting style at the Las Vegas Summer League on Friday.
He even shot that way from the line in college, where he shot 54.7 percent from the line in two seasons.
Onuaku shot 1-of-2 from the line during Friday's game. He may be on to something here...
