Honda's Customer Accounts Compromised
If you own a Honda -- and you gave the car company your e-mail address -- listen up:
Thieves have hacked into Honda's Owner Link or My Acura Vehicle accounts.
The auto maker says the security breach means customers could receive false company e-mails asking for personal information.
Customers' names, login names, e-mail addresses, as well as vehicle I-D numbers, were compromised in the breach, but more sensitive data, such as phone numbers, Social Security numbers, or birth dates were not included.
