Hockeytown Can Still Deliver

For those who weren't there Sunday for the Red Wings first home playoff game of the year, the Joe Louis Arena delivered one of the great pre-game atmospheres in the league.
The Joe is not the most modern building, but I've always liked it because it has a soul. It's a place in which Detroit fans have celebrated championships and suffered through heartbreak. New buildings can hit you with laser-shows and booming sound systems and modern amenities oozing from every chair-rest. But what the Joe can provide with caring from the organization and a fan base that cares more than all the rest gets it national attention ... as proven by the link below.
