The 22-year-old woman was outside of a hotel on eastbound Grand River Ave. north of Eight Mile Rd when she was hit by someone she knew.

Johnson is described as a black male, 6-feet tall and 150 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and is known to frequent the southwest area of Detroit.

The van Johnson was driving is described as a newer model red or maroon Chrysler Town & Country that continued eastbound on Grand River. The vehicle does not have a metal registration plate, but has a temporary registration plate in the back window.

The victim is at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills in critical condition.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of Johnson or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Farmington Hills Police Department Command Desk at 248-871-2610.
