Historic Home On The Move In Wyandotte
Traffic was moving very slow through downtown Wyandotte Tuesday--and that's just fine with the city. A historic home is on the move.
That means city crews are closing parts of Biddle street throughout the day--so hanging traffic lights can be moved to accommodate the rolling residence.
The city-owned house's existing lot was sold, it's new home will be near Biddle and Eureka.
Crews had to raise the traffic lights along Biddle to accommodate the move, which was expected to take much of the day.
The house's new home will be at Maple and Third Street.
