Helping The Hungry This Holiday
It's the time of year when the focus intensifies on seniors and others in need of a helping hand.
To relieve some of that stress, Focus: HOPE coordinates food collections, donations and distribution to aid those low-income mothers, children and senior citizens who participate in this program. These giving inititive provide the opportunity for others to join in the effort to help those in need. The holiday program officially launched on November 1st.
WWJ Newsradio 950's Pat Sweeting discussed how we can help with Frank Kubik, Manager of the Focus:HOPE Commodity Supplemental Food Program.
