Help Sought To Find Missing 20-Year-Old Man
WATERFORD (WWJ) - Family and friends are looking for help in finding Shawn Grayson, 20, who disappeared last week in the area of M-59 and Airport Road.
His friends say he is mentally disabled and has attempted suicide in the past.
Shortly after he disappeared, he made a phone call to a family member in Virginia, looking for money for a train ticket. He hasn't been seen or heard from since.
"At this point, we are very desperate to find him," his roommate wrote in an email to WWJ Newsradio 950, adding that Grayson is new to Metro Detroit and doesn't know many people in the area.
Grayson was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt, dark blue jeans and brown Vans sneakers. He has blue eyes and brown hair that is cut in a mohawk. He was carrying a beige Timberland jacket with embroidered stitching on the back and arms with the Native American medicine wheel and white feathers.
Grayson is about 5'6'' tall and about 165 pounds. He is considered an endangered missing adult due to his disability.
Anyone with information about Grayson's whereabouts should call Waterford Police.
