Heaven Right Here in Pontiac
If you love antiques, historic homes and flowers, Pontiac is the place to be on Saturday (July 16.) It's the ninth annual Garden and Historical Home Tour.
It will blow you away!
It blew me away, when I got a sneak peek earlier this week, thanks to Pat David.
She and her husband own the incredibly beautiful Murphy House Bed and Breakfast on Franklin.
Pat's garden is an old-fashioned garden. Flowers galore. Wind chimes made of tea cups. Whimsical. Wonderful.
The tour goes from 9am-5pm on Saturday. It begins at the Creative Arts Center (47 Williams.)
The tour features 11 different homes and gardens, plus tea and crumpets. Lemonade and cookies. And an ice cream social along the way.
This is Pat's bed and breakfast on Franklin.
It is exquisite inside and out.
Meticulously decorated.
The other homes and gardens on the tour are also fantastic!
Tickets are $20 the day of the tour.
There will be a small tour bus to shuttle you around if you'd prefer not to walk.
Wait till you see the antique gazebo!
Absolutely gorgeous!
Then there's the scarecrow they call "The Lady Who Came to Tea.
