Happy Hookers In Detroit To Shed Light On Homelessness
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Happy Hookers are trying to set a Guinness world record ... for the world's longest crocheted scarf.
The volunteer crochet group has created scarves to donate to Detroit Central City Community Mental Health consumers.
They draped the scarf around a statue at One Woodward Avenue to raise awareness for the need for warm clothing donations to homeless Detroiters this winter.
Donations of hats, scarves, & gloves are being accepted at The Fountain Bistro in downtown Detroit Saturday.
