Gunshots Blamed For Power Outage
SAGINAW (AP) - A utility says gunshots fired at power poles are to blame for an electrical outage affecting hundreds of customers in Michigan.
WSGW-AM reports that CMS Energy Corp.'s Consumers Energy unit says about 1,900 customers were without power Friday morning. The utility says equipment on three or four poles was shot.
The utility says outages were in Saginaw County, including part of Saginaw, and northern Genesee County.
Power was expected to be restored later in the day.
