Guide: Places For Free Thanksgiving Dinners In Metro Detroit
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Not everyone lives in a Norman Rockwell painting.
And for everyone who has fallen down and needs a little lift on the all-important day of thanks, there are places to go for a warm meal and friendly companionship.
A variety of locations in metro Detroit are offering free meals to anyone in need on Thanksgiving Day, including: Romulus House restaurant, Westminster Church of Detroit, and the Original Cottage Inn Restaurant in Ann Arbor.

There will be a free Thanksgiving dinner (full turkey dinner, pumpkin pie and a drink). Everyone is welcome. We want to give back to the community. Any donations will go to the Romulus Good Fellows. Any questions call Rita 248-719-1397

Westminster Church of Detroit's 31st annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner serves the elderly, the lonely, low income, homeless, and hungry persons of metro-Detroit. The dinner is served sit down style. Take out meals are also available. This year the dinner will be entirely organized by volunteers. There is no cost to those served and everyone is welcome!
