Greektown Casino-Hotel Gets A Makeover
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Greektown Casino-Hotel is remodeling. In addition to a new bar and super pit game area, CEO Mike Puggi spoke with WWJ about some other renovations they've made.
"We also took down some interior walls and moved a lounge off the first floor main area to where it opened up some sight lines and allowed for some good visuals of the entire casino floor. So now you really feel present when you walk throughout just about any area of the main casino level."
Puggi said these changes mark the beginning of the new Greektown Casino.
"This is a new look on the original theme, you know. It's not a departure from who we are, it's really just taking the property and bringing it into the now."
Puggi said they plan to make some additional changes to the casino in 2012.
Puggi also announced that Duffey Petrosky, a full-service marketing communications agency, would hold an online Greektown Casino-Hotel Advertising Casting Call over the next several weeks, inviting guests who are interested to sign up to be part of the new advertising campaign currently under development.
