Granholm Takes Swipe At Sarah Palin
Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm says Sarah Palin isn't qualified to be president. In an interview with the MIRS News Service, during her final week of office, she said the former Alaska governor's departure midway through her first term in office says it all.
"I don't think so. I mean, I'm not saying a governor wouldn't be qualified -- because I think a governor has a tremendous amount to offer to a presidency, given the executive expereince. And, that executive experience I think is the best preperation to be President," Grahnolm said.
"But, she was only Governoer for a couple of years, and left in the middle. And you don't leave when things are tough. You stick it out and you make sure you do what you've gotta do," Granhom said.
Granholm, a Democrat, filled in in the role of Palin, a Republican, while helping Joe Biden prepare for the 2008 vice presidential debate.
