Grand River, Pitney Bowes Offer International E-Commerce
Ann Arbor-based Grand River, an e-commerce development and integration service provider, announced a collaboration with Pitney Bowes Inc. to integrate Magento platform extensions with Pitney Bowes's ClearPath international e-commerce and logistics service.
The ClearPath Services Suite helps reduce the challenges associated with international e-commerce, enabling online retailers in the United States and e-commerce services providers to execute their global expansion strategy seamlessly.
Through Grand River integration services, the ClearPath services will be available as a downloadable extension through Magento Connect, the official marketplace for Magento extensions. Grand River will develop the extension to be compatible with Magento Community, Magento Professional, and Magento Enterprise versions, allowing customers of all sizes to use the Pitney Bowes international services.
"We chose Grand River to design and integrate our ClearPath technology with Magento, based on their deep technical expertise and retail e-commerce knowledge," said Craig Reed, vice president of e-commerce solutions for Pitney Bowes. "This integration will help simplify international transactions, making cross-border e-commerce orders easy to manage with minimal effort to implement."
As a Magento Enterprise Partner, Grand River will serve as the exclusive host of the ClearPath extension for the Magento platform, and provide these solutions directly to the Magento community.
Scott Robertson, partner and co-founder of Grand River, said Pitney Bowes is "a leader in international e-commerce distribution. Their import and export regulatory expertise, advanced technology, and sophisticated logistics infrastructure make global e-commerce easier for retailers, shippers, and customers alike."
