Grakon Opens Design Center in Michigan
Seattle-based Grakon Tuesday announced the opening of an engineering and design center in Farmington Hills. The new office is intended to strongly support the strategic growth plans of the company. The staff located at the office will include engineers, designers and program managers.
The company did not immediately specify how many jobs would be created initially.
Said Tony Pashigian, vice president of program management and engineering at Grakon: "The location of Grakon's new design center will provide increased capabilities to serve our existing customers on the East coast and Midwest as well as support our strategic growth initiatives."
Grakon is a designer and manufacturer of custom interior lighting, exterior lighting, complex engineered and assembled molded trim components as well custom trim features such as nameplates and thresholds. Grakon has been designing and manufacturing LED lighting for more than 10 years, most recently developing a business in customizing the efficient use of LED lighting technology.
Grakon is headquartered in Seattle, with offices in Eindhoven, Netherlands, Dongguan, China, Greensboro, N.C. and Farmington Hills.
