GR Firm Offers Busy People 'Schedule Utopia'
GRAND RAPIDS -- The IT consulting firm Bevelwise has introduced Schedule Utopia, a free schedule and communication management program that syncs multiple schedules across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Outlook and google.
The program is intended for busy families -- but also companies, schools, churches, sports leagues, activity centers, colleges and universities, nonprofits, and more.
Users can set how they are notified and what triggers the notification for every occurrence. Users can set default reminders that differ, calendar by calendar, and can set up the system to be notified one way by one organization and another way by a second organization. You can get notified when there is a change is location or date one way and if it is a cancellation a completely different way.
Under the system, those running organizations, leagues, clubs or teams have only to update a single calendar, and Schedule Utopia will take care of the rest. Participants, family and friends can follow these calendars and know instantly when something changes.
Better yet, the organization does not have to maintain the information -- each person maintains their email address and phones numbers that are used for communication. Users can also always change who you are following and how you get notified at any time.
