GR, Brighton Imaging Firms Merge
Grand Rapids-based Applied Imaging said Monday that it is merging with American Imaging of Brighton. Applied Imaging will be the surviving corporation.
Both companies offer managed print services, document management and network products and services. And both companies are fully authorized office equipment dealerships that carry Ricoh, Lanier, Gestetner, Sharp and Oki products.
Applied Imaging has hired all American Imaging employees and integrated them into its organization.
"I discovered that Applied Imaging is one of the fasted growing companies in the Midwest, and they offer the top product lines in the industry," said American Imaging founder Edward Montrose. "I know that my customers will be well taken care of."
Current American Imaging customers will now enjoy the benefit of having additional resources available in terms of Applied Imaging's buying power with manufacturers and innovative service and support programs.
Said John Lowery, Applied Imaging president: "With the larger customer base, we have additional leverage and purchasing power. American Imaging customers will now have access to more products since we are an authorized dealer for Canon's complete line of products, Kyocera printers and Oce high volume production print systems."
Customers will also benefit from Applied Imaging's managed print services, document management and network solutions programs.
